Finally after days of rain the sun broke through and we could start the rock work on the outside of the house. We've chosen white Texas limestone mixed with approximately 15% gray limestone. The gray gives the stone a nice contrast and allows the roof color to be drawn down into the house.

The Tyvek on one corner of the house has been torn loose by high winds and is funneling water into the house. Unfortunately, it is 30' off the ground. We're hoping the masons will get their scaffolds up quickly so we can get up there and fix it.
