We found the Granite tile that we had been looking for at a great price! One of the Houston tile stores decided to move inventory by renting a warehouse in Austin (a much hotter home sales market). The price for the tile was approximately $6.50/SF instead of the $15/SF we had been seeing.

The trim contractor started early today, and by this evening he had most of the interior doors hung and was putting the crown molding up. Although we have a long way to go the house is starting to look complete.
