The painter arrived today and started caulking and sealing. He is going to put sample colors up on the walls to make sure we like the ones we selected.
The wrought iron is still slooooow. It seems we get promised that it'll be there tonight almost every day. It is not holding up the house yet, but it sure would be nice to get it off the to-do list.
The cabinets were delivered today, they look gorgeous. It'll be interesting to see how they look installed. One of the tools that we are reviewing for the "Cool-Tool" award is the T-Jak Support System. I've asked our cabinet installer to try it out. More on that later.
The mason was finishing up the rock on the fireplace. The vertical surfacer are going to be Texas limestone. The horizontal the same granite tiles that we are using in the kitchen (pink and dark blue). I think the contrast of texture and color will look great.
