The house felt like a three ring circus today. The tile man was laying tile, the painter's were caulking the exterior (spots they missed), and the wood contractor was racking the floor. Racking the floor involves laying the wood out so that you can spot the pieces with defects or patterns in the floor that look odd.

It is incredible how fast a diamond saw can cut through hard materials like granite and tile. I understand the blades are incredibly expensive (up to $300) so you have to be careful how you use them. The results are incredible though, a nice smooth cut in very hard materials.
