The house is in the stage where there are innumerable finishing touches being added. Today the wrought iron was being painted with a hammer finish paint. It's amazing how fast the paint dries...15 minutes after it was applied it was already dry.

The edge of the granite is traditionally finished off to a very smooth edge with diamond blades. Because the diamond blades are very expensive the finish processing is very expensive. With the amount of granite we have this was getting very expensive. For now, we've sanded the edges smooth, and are going to polish them. Of course, we always have the alternative of getting them polished later.
