The city turned electricity on in the house. We started flipping the breakers on one at a time and checked to make sure nothing went wrong.
Most of the lights worked. Unfortunately, not all. The lights in the bedrooms were not working, as well as the decks. It was dark by the time we checked so it is kind of hard to tell if the light bulb is blown or it is more serious.
A house seems to come alive the first time lights are switched on. Almost as soon as we started switching lights on, we had company. My grandmother and aunt dropped by closely followed by my mother and brother. A house truly becomes alive with family. As expected everyone migrated to the back deck to enjoy the view and the evening breeze.
